The annual sockeye run averages around 1 million each year. The Kasilof River is also coveted for coho in the fall and steelhead in the spring and fall. Rainbow and dolly varden remain year-around while whitefish spawn in the river in the early summer. This location offers unparallelled recreational opportunities.
