Alaska multi-family, duplexes, and rental property
Live income-property listings straight from the Alaska MLS, plain-English guides on 1031 exchanges and investment loans, and one agent who does this for herself.
Rents, vacancy, and operating costs shown on a listing come from the listing agent and are not verified by the MLS. Treat them as a starting point and confirm leases, deposits, and utility history during due diligence.
Does Alaska publish sale prices?
No. Alaska is a non-disclosure state, so closed sale prices are not public record and are not shown on this site. Your agent can pull comparable sales through the MLS to underwrite an offer.
What does a 2-4 unit property qualify for?
Two- to four-unit properties are still residential for lending purposes. Owner-occupants can use FHA or VA financing on them, and conventional lenders count a share of the rental income toward qualifying. Five or more units is commercial lending.
